Up on the bank of the Connecticut River in Lyme, on the New Hampshire side, sits this charming old house. If you look carefully through the end of the porch you can see a bit of the river in the distance. Only a short hop from the porch was once a bridge to the Vermont side of the river. Sadly for all of us who would like a handy bridge to Vermont, a long ago storm swept it away.
